No arrests have been made two days after a triple stabbing in Clapham which left one man dead and another two in hospital.
The stabbing happened on Wandsworth Road in south London in the early hours of Sunday morning (September 29) at around 4:05am.
Police, ambulance crews and an air ambulance were sent to the scene.
Three men had been stabbed, and one, aged 24, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The two other men aged in their 20s were taken to hospital.
One was treated for non-life-threatening injuries and the third remains in hospital with “serious injuries”.
There are currently no updates on his condition.
A formal identification of the victim has not taken place and the victim’s next of kin have been informed.
A post-mortem examination is set to take place at a later date.
The Metropolitan Police has confirmed that no arrests have been made as the investigation continues.
Chief Superintendent Seb Adjei-Addoh, who is in charge of policing in Lambeth, said: “Our thoughts are with the family of the young man who has lost his life in the most tragic of circumstances.
“We are working closely with our colleagues to ensure that arrests are made as quickly as possible.
“I know the local community will be shocked by these events. You can expect to see officers in the area and I would encourage anyone with concerns, or information, to please speak with them.”
