A man has died after collapsing at a popular park in Sutton.
The incident happened at Wrythe Recreation Ground near Brookfield Avenue at around 6pm on September 21.
Police and London Ambulance crews attended, however the man was pronounced dead shortly after.
His death is not being treated as suspicious.
The park was cordoned off as the incident was dealt with, but it has since reopened.
A spokesperson for London Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 4.51pm on Saturday 21 September to reports of an unwell person in Wrythe Lane, Carshalton.
“We sent resources to the scene, including ambulance crews, paramedics in fast response cars and an incident response officer.
“Our crews treated a man at the scene.
"Sadly, despite the best efforts of emergency services, he died at the scene.”
