We have analysed crime data from the Metropolitan Police on the drug crimes recorded at high streets across south London.
The data reveals where these crimes took place from January through to April in 2024, the data for summer months this year has not yet been released.
We have collated this data into a map for south Londoners to see where drug crimes have been committed on high streets near them.
In south London, a drug crime was recorded in Croydon’s High Street during January this year.
There is no status update available in regard to the outcome of this crime.
In February, a drug-related crime was recorded in Sutton’s High Street which is under investigation.
During March, drug crimes were recorded in both Colliers Wood High Street and Wandsworth High Street, both of which continue to be under investigation.
On or near Barnes High Street in Richmond upon Thames a drug crime committed in April was recorded.
It is under investigation.
Also in the Richmond upon Thames borough, on or near Mortlake High Street a drug crime was recorded in February.
This also remains under investigation.
In south east London, a drug crime was recorded on or near Woolwich High Street in March.
This remains under investigation by police.
In the same month, a drug-related crime was also recorded on or near Eltham High Street which is also still under investigation.
Also in March, a drug crime that is still under investigation was recorded on or near Lewisham High Street.
On or near Bromley High Street, the Metropolitan Police has revealed that a drug related crime was recorded in March.
This is another crime that remains under investigation.
In February, a drug crime was recorded on or near Borough High Street in Southwark which is also under investigation.
