Two south London drug dealers who sold crack cocaine and heroin out of a rent house have been jailed.
Garey Cotter, 48, of Frant Road in Thornton Heath, was seen supplying drugs to a user in the street in St Leonards in November 2022.
When he was arrested the keys to a rented property fell from his pocket.
Musa Massaquoi, 21, of Armfield Crescent in Mitcham, was found inside that property along with drugs worth £1,500 and £6,500 in cash.
Both men were convicted of being concerned in the supply of heroin and crack cocaine, possession with intent to supply heroin and crack cocaine, and offences relating to money laundering.
Last Monday (September 2) at Lewes Crown Court both men were jailed for two years and seven months.
Detective Chief Inspector Catherine O’Connor from Sussex Police said: “This case demonstrates the determination of officers and investigators to catch criminals supplying class A drugs that cause so much harm in our communities.”
