A cyclist has been left with life changing injuries after a crash with a lorry in Westminster.
The incident happened in Parliament Square near the junction with Bridge Street at around 11.30am today (September 4).
Officers, London Ambulance Service and an air ambulance were called to the scene.

The cyclist, a woman, was rushed to hospital where her condition is not being treated as life-threatening but may be life-changing.
The driver of the lorry stopped at the scene.
No arrests have been made as police enquiries into the circumstances continue.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “At around 11:30hrs today, Wednesday, 4 September, a lorry was involved in a collision with a cyclist in Parliament Square, near the junction with Bridge Street.
“London Ambulance Service and London's Air Ambulance paramedics attended.
"The cyclist, a female, was taken to hospital.
“Her condition is not being treated as life-threatening but may potentially be life-changing.
“The driver of the lorry stopped. There have been no arrests.
“The circumstances will be investigated.”
A spokesperson London Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 11.34am today (4 September) to reports of a road traffic collision at the junction of Bridge Street and Parliament Street, Westminster.
“We sent resources to the scene, including an ambulance crew, an advanced paramedic and an incident response officer.
“We also dispatched London’s Air Ambulance.
“We treated a woman at the scene and took her to a major trauma centre as a priority.”
