An investigation has been launched after firefighters tackled a skip on fire in Croydon.
The London Fire Brigade were called to Poplar Walk on Friday (August 23) at 1.11pm.
Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were at the scene, and the skip was damaged by the fire.
There were no injuries reported.
The fire was under control by 1.27pm.
Fire crews from Croydon, Woodside, and Wallington fire stations were at the scene.
A spokesperson for the London Fire Brigade said: "Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a skip fire on Poplar Walk in Croydon.
"One skip was damaged by fire.
"There were no reports of any injuries.
"The Brigade was called at 1.11pm and the fire was under control by 1.27pm.
"Crews from Croydon, Woodside, and Wallington fire stations attended the scene.
"The cause of the fire is under investigation."
