A 38-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a stabbing in Surrey.
The incident happened in Kenyngton Drive, Sunbury shortly before 6am today (August 25).
Officers, South East Coast Ambulance and London Ambulance Service crews attended.
A woman in her 30s was found injured and taken to hospital in a serious but stable condition.
The man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and taken into police custody where he remains.
A spokesperson for Surrey Police said: "Officers were called to an address on Kenyngton Drive in Sunbury shortly before 6am this morning following reports of a stabbing at the location.
"South East Coast Ambulance and the London Ambulance Service also attended, and a woman in her 30s was taken to hospital in a serious but stable condition.
"A 38-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and has been taken into police custody."
