A shocking video of armed police officers stopping a car on Wandsworth Bridge is making its rounds on social media.
The video, which was shared on X, appears to show several officers physically trying to remove a driver from a white vehicle before laying a spike trap in front of the car.
Two officers with tasers also approach both the driver’s side and passenger window, although it’s not clear whether they are discharged.
They fail to remove the individual from the car, which then drives forward and has its tyres burst by the spike trap.

The white car rams another car in front pushing it onto the pavement and trying to slide past.
The car does not get far and is later swarmed by officers who remove the driver from the vehicle.
There are a large number of officers at the scene, and one asked the recorder of the video, in a car nearby, if he was okay.
The video pans behind which shows the road blocked off by at least three police cars.
We have approached Metropolitan Police for further information but a spokesperson explained that they are unable to locate the incident.
