Police have launched a manhunt after an assault at West Croydon Railway Station left a man with serious injuries to his face.

On January 3, around 6.30pm, the victim claimed that two men blocked his path on the platform.

When he tried to walk away, he was threatened by one of the men, who then assaulted him with a weapon.

The man was left with serious facial injuries.

British Transport Police have now released CCTV images of two individuals who they believe could hold believed to hold vital information.
