A man has died after an incident in Sutton.
London Ambulance Service crews were called to Lewis Road at 12.35pm yesterday (January 23).
An ambulance crew and an incident response officer also attended.
The man was treated at the scene but was pronounced dead shortly after.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police confirmed the incident must have been a sudden death or a medical episode.
The full statement from London Ambulance Service says: “We were called yesterday (23 January) at 12:35pm to reports of an incident on Lewis Road, Sutton.
“We sent some resources to the scene, including an ambulance crew and an incident response officer.
“We treated a man, but unfortunately, despite the best efforts of our teams, he was pronounced dead at the scene.”
