Crystal Palace have completed the signing of Boreham Wood striker Simon Thomas.
The tall forward has been on trial at Palace and scored in last week's 4-3 win over Aldershot, impressing manager Neil Warnock enough for him to sign him for a nominal fee.
Thomas has a good record for the Ryman Premier Division side, scoring 33 goals in 71 first team appearances over the last two seasons.
He was the clubs leading scorer last season with 27 strikes, including eight penalties.
The fee also guarantees a friendly between the two clubs next season.
