Two brothers attending the wake of a soldier killed in Iraq attacked a traffic warden after he confronted a mourner parked on yellow lines in Battersea, a court has heard.
Steven Pratley, 24, smashed a glass in Syed Jawad Hyder's head, Kingston Crown Court was told.
His brother, Lee Jones, 23, was alleged to have hit Mr Hyder, 38, with his motorbike helmet in the incident near the Gardeners Arms pub at the wake for his cousin on June 27 last year.
The pair, both of Tooting, deny one charge of causing actual bodily harm.
