I too am pestered by a fox at the bottom of my garden. I have suffered the same problems as your other readers. I have tried to get help from the council to no avail.
Nobody has mentioned the diseases that these animals carry and can cause, some of them fatal to domestic pets and people. Some of these are toxocariasis, Weil's disease, hydatid disease, sarcoptic mange, fleas and rabies.
All these and the council does not want to know.
