A man was stabbed in a chest and a woman was injured in a knife attack in Wallington.
A 42-year-old man has now been charged with attempted murder and grievous bodily harm.
Police rushed to Birchwood Avenue at 6.15am on Saturday (December 2) after receiving a call reporting a stabbing.
An air ambulance also attended and a man in his late 30s was taken to hospital with a stab injury to his chest.
His condition was later assessed as not life-threatening. He remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition.
A woman, also in her late 30s, was treated for a cut to her hand.
Gavin Price, 42, of no fixed address, was charged with attempted murder and grievous bodily harm on Sunday (December 3).
He was held in custody and will appear at Croydon Magistrates’ Court on Monday (December 4).
