A second housemate being booted off Big Brother for unacceptable behaviour hasn't saved Norwood contestant Sylvia Barrie from the threat of eviction.

Housemate Dennis McHugh was booted out of the house after an argument that started in the early hours of this morning.

During the argument Dennis spat in the face of fellow housemate, Mohamed.

Big Brother intervened immediately to break up the argument. The 'as live' streaming from the house on E4 was cut and no footage was broadcast.

After production staff and executives at Channel 4 reviewed the footage this morning, Dennis was called to the diary room a second time at 1:15pm and told he was immediately being removed from the house.

But tonight's eviction vote, involving Mohamed and Sylvia, will proceed as planned.

Sylvia is originally from Sierra Leone but moved to south London with her family when she was 11.

The 21-year-old Derby University student is the favourite to be evicted from the house, being nominated by nine housemates who mainly complained about her failure to chip in with the cleaning.

The mouthy contestant has recently caused a stir in the house by flirting incessantly with newcomer Stuart Pilkington, despite having a boyfriend at home.

Since Alexandra De-Gale, 23 from Croydon, was removed from the house last week for using "threatening" language, Sylvia has been labeled the new Big Brother baddie for bitching about some of her fellow housemates.
