Croydon Athletic may be set for a major cash injection after a local businessman became the club's majority shareholder.
Mazhar Majeed, who owns property development company Bluesky Developments Ltd, has joined forces with current Rams owner Roy Price in an effort to take the club forward as they aim for promotion from Ryman Division One South next season.
Details of Mr Majeed's plans for the club are sketchy at the moment, but a press conference has been announced for Tuesday where he will be formally unveiled.
