A factory unit in Thornton Heath caught fire in the early hours of this morning.
Four fire engines and about 20 firefighters from Norbury and Croydon fire stations were called to the blaze in London Road at 2.15am.
About 20 per cent of the single-storey building was damaged by the four-pump fire and crews managed to stop the fire from spreading to surrounding buildings.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
