Thousands rely on Transport for London's bus service every day, whether you prefer it over the Tube or use it as a safe backup when the underground is disrupted.
But, to us passengers, buses are just a handy transport system where we get to sit back and relax (besides rush hour).
However, for London bus drivers, the transport system is much more in-depth and holds a lot more secrets than you could imagine.
Now, TikTok user Shards0914, who is a bus driver in the capital, has shared all the top secrets and even some of the lies passengers have told drivers.

One aspect Shard shares are the most common lies given by passengers when they can't pay, whether they've forgotten their Oyster card or can't pay contactless.
Revealing that one of the most common reasons is that someone is chasing them or they are in a rush to catch the last train.
Whilst others take the more traditional route of lying about their age, hoping to get a free under-18 ticket.
Sharing in TikTok that some of the reasons are: "I don't have an Oyster, I don't have a contactless payment card, my phone has died, I'm only going a few stops, someone trying to chase me can I get on?"
Followers shared their own response as one wrote: "It's always I'm going 'two' stops."
