A man has been taken to hospital after falling from a height in Croydon.
The incident occurred yesterday on Thursday, April 20 at Park Road at around 4.40pm.
The A212 Croydon Underpass was closed in both directions until around 9pm.
Paramedics were also called, and the man was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
People reported sightings of an air ambulance in the area on social media.
The man’s injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
London Ambulance Service and London Air Ambulance has been approached for further comment.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at about 4.40pm on Thursday, 20 April to reports of a man fallen from height at Park Road in Croydon.
“Emergency services attended.
“The man has been taken to a south London hospital; his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.”
