The iconic Sylvanian Families in London is set to be closing its doors forever at the end of April.

The store has been running for over 30 years and has become popular among fans of the toys and on social media platforms like TikTok.

Back in 2016, the collectable toy shop was voted runner-up in Time Out's Love London award.

But now owners Taylor and Rose Timbertop have shared that they are looking to sell the shop as they plan to retire.

A sign that was placed outside the store reads: "Thank you for being wonderful collectors, enthusiasts, friends and neighbours and for supporting our business over the past 30 years.

"We couldn’t have done it without you."

London Sylvanian Families store to close down

Back in January, social media star Luke Poulton, alerted fans of the news sharing: "Right now I’m stood in front of the Sylvanian Family shop, which is the only specialist Sylvanian Family shop in Europe."

Adding: "I have some very sad news today though. This shop, after 30 years, is closing at the end of April."

The store has shelves of Sylvanian figures along with limited edition sets to some of the most popular sets available.

Although the London store is closing, the products will still be available from other retailers.

If you want to visit you still have time as it won't be closing its doors until after the Easter Holidays.
