The ground floor of a home in Twickenham has been damaged by a fire which began during the early hours of yesterday (February 28).

Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to Park Crescent in Twickenham at 1.25am.

Fire crews from Twickenham and Heston fire stations brought the blaze under control by 2.15am.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is currently under investigation.

A spokesperson for London Fire Brigade said: “Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a house fire on Park Crescent in Twickenham.

“Half of the ground floor of a three-storey end of terrace house was damaged by fire.

“No injuries were reported.

“The Brigade was called at 1.25am and the fire was under control at 2.15am.

“Fire crews from Twickenham and Heston fire stations were in attendance.

“The cause of the fire is under investigation.”
