Two children including a five-month-old baby have been taken to hospital after a crash in Croydon.
The incident between a car and two pedestrians happened in Brighton Road at 11am today (February 8).
Officers and London Ambulance Service crews attended and found two children injured.
They were taken to a south London hospital for treatment.
Their injuries were later assessed as not life-threatening.
The driver of the car stopped at the scene.
Road closures were put in place but have since reopened.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called shortly before 11:00hrs on Wednesday, 8 February to reports of a collision between a car and pedestrians on Brighton Road in Coulsdon.
“Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended.
“Two children, including a five-month-old, were taken to a south London hospital for treatment; their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
“The driver stopped at the scene.
“The road has reopened to traffic.”
