The heatwave Londoners have been basking in is set to stay until after the weekend.
The glorious sunny weather, which began as a Bank Holiday Monday treat, will continue this weekend, with temperatures in south London hitting the mid-20s - warmer than in parts of the Mediterranean.
Forecasters predict an especially hot day on Saturday, with expected peaks of 25ºC, so the weekend seems like the perfect time for sunbathing and barbecues.
The Met Office said the end of next week could bring thundery showers.
