Six teenage males have been charged in connection with the stabbing of a Battersea college student.
A 14-year-old, two 15-year-olds, a 16-year-old and two 17-year-olds from south London are all due before South Western Magistrates today charged with violent disorder. The 16-year-old youth has also been charged with GBH with intent.
Police were called to reports of a 16-year-old stabbed at Salesian College in Surrey Lane about 3.20pm on Thursday.
The student was taken to hospital by air ambulance where he remains in a stable condition.
A school spokesman said: "We are obviously very shocked and distressed that this incident has occurred and we hope that our pupil makes a full recovery.
"We will be offering all the support we can to him, his family and all our other pupils at this time."
