Crystal Palace are down to the bare bones for their trip to Preston tomorrow.

Only 13 players are definitely involved at the minute, with the Eagles suffering from a series of injuries and suspensions.

Striker James Scowcroft, midfielder Tom Soares and defender Clint Hill are all suspended, while Neil Danns has not recovered from his groin problem in time and Shefki Kuqi has been left out following his gesture to fans last Saturday.

Paul Ifill is a doubt after suffering a recurrence of his hamstring injury last Saturday, while Sean Scannell and Jose Fonte are struggling with knocks picked up in training.

The injuries may however mean an opportunity for more of the club's youngsters to break into the first team if they are called upon.

Warnock said: "We have brought many of the injured players with us and will train on Friday to see how they are then. Ifill didn't strain his hamstring as we first thought and we are quietly confident about that, but we are going to train and we will now more after that.

"We've got 13 people that are travelling at the moment. We're a bit depleted this weekend to say the least so we'll be taking a mixture of players really.

"There's a few coming into the scenario, people like Ben Kudjodji, Ashley Robinson, Jeff Hughes and Victor Moses will all be travelling, as will Tony Craig probably even though he has only had a reserve game."
