Well done to you for giving major publicity to the rather extraordinary decision taken by the local NHS trust in giving the order of the boot to Bess Harding and the car boot sale she holds on Sundays in the car park of the Dorking Road hospital.
It would appear that Mrs Harding has been pushed from pillar to post over the years while raising funds for much needed equipment to be used in the hospital. And now this.
The reasons given for this action both from your article and that I have gleaned elsewhere are more suited to the script of a theatre farce.
I urge you to press for a public explanation from those responsible that questions may be asked.
Meanwhile, a big thank you to the doctors, nurses and ancillary staff for the great service they give to both in and out patients.
