A 24-year-old man is due in court this morning charged with an attempted murder in Mitcham.
John William Cotter of Chillingford House, Blackshaw Road, Tooting, is due to appear at Wimbledon Magistrates' Court this morning.
He is accused of the attempted murder of 21-year-old Lloyd Lilley in Pains Close, Mitcham, on Monday.
He also faces a charge of causing grievous boldily harm with intent.
