A man from Forest Hill has been ordered to pay more than £350 in court over a dodged Croydon Tramlink ticket which would have cost £1.65.
Ion Petrovic travelled on the Croydon Tramlink between East Croydon and Elmers End on March 2, 2022 without a valid ticket for his entire journey.
The 33-year-old was ordered to pay £355.65 for the offence during a single justice procedure hearing at Lavender Hill Magistrates' Court on June 15.
This includes a £220 fine, compensation of £1.65, a surcharge to victim services of £34 and costs of £100.
Petrovic, of Forest Hill Road, must pay this by July 13.
