THE "UNEXPLAINED" death of a woman at a house is not being treated as suspicious by police.
Emergency services were called to the property in Linden Chase, Uckfield, at about 9am on Friday, May 13.
Police said a woman was declared dead at the scene after officers were called to an “incident”.
“Her death is being treated as unexplained at this time,” a police spokesman said at the time.
Since then, Sussex Police have confirmed that her death is not being treated as suspicious.
"A woman was sadly declared deceased at the scene,” the police spokesman added.
“Her death is not being treated as suspicious. We are preparing a file for the coroner."
Police enquiries are ongoing.
