A boy has been taken to hospital with a stab wound after being attacked by a group of youths in Mitcham.
Police were called at 6.30pm yesterday to reports of a male assaulted in Figges Marsh.
The victim, who is believed to be 16 years old, was apparently attacked by about six youths before receiving his injuries.
An ambulance crew attended the scene.
The teenager was taken to a south London hospital, and his condition is stable and non-life threatening.
Officers from Wimbledon are investigating.
No arrests have so far been made.
