Guy Moroney appeared at Sutton Magistrates' Court on Friday charged with possession of a knife, criminal damage and drug possession with intent to supply.
He was alleged to have been found in Sutton town centre on Thursday, January 17 with a knife tucked into his waistband and ten wraps of crack cocaine.
Moroney, 20, who lives in Brunswick Road, was denied bail before his next court appearance.
