Post offices in Ashford, Esher and Sunbury have been slated for closure by Royal Mail.
The three branches - Claygate High Street in Esher, Woodthorpe Road in Ashford and Nursery Road, Sunbury - are among 2,500 nationally the Post Office wants to close to help stop losses of £4million a week across the company.
In the documents outlining the closure plans, the Post Office closures will affect only 7.7 per cent of customers but almost all of those will still be within one mile of other branches.
"In total 99.5 percent of the population will either see no change, or will be within one mile of an alternative branch," it says.
Public consultation on the plans ends on March 10.
