Channel 4's new documentary series 'Emergency' premiers tonight (Monday 28th February).
The show follows staff and stories over four nights at the London Major Trauma System across the capital and the South-East of England.
The London Major Trauma System was set up in the wake of the London bombings of 2005 and acts as an interconnected network for hospitals, air ambulances, and paramedics.
'Emergency' was filmed during the busiest months for hospitals last summer and follows minute-by-minute decisions by the nation's top medics as they treat the most critically injured patients.

The show visits four hospitals: St George's, Royal London, St Mary's, and William Harvey Hospital.
The first episode follows 58-year-old Peter who's been crushed under 400kg crate whilst at work, and the team discovers he's broken his pelvis.
Plus 28-year-old Danilo is brought to St Mary's following a motorbike crash and follows concerns of rupture to his aorta.
In London, there is a night of violence as the hospital is flooded with stabbings as the team tried to help all patients.

The show airs tonight (Monday February 28) on Channel 4 and All 4 from 9pm.
There are four episodes each airing over the next four days at 9pm.
