LIVERPOOL manager Jurgen Klopp has admitted that midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain could be in contention to play against Palace.
The Reds travel to Selhurst Park for a Premier League fixture on Sunday.
Patrick Vieira's side will be hoping they can return to winning ways after their draw against Brighton last time out.
Palace will be well-rested for the match against Liverpool as they will have had nine days between matches, compared to Liverpool's three days.
The Reds played against Arsenal in the Carabao Cup on Thursday night.
However, Klopp is hopeful Oxlade-Chamberlain can be in contention on Sunday after missing the Arsenal match with an ankle problem.
However, they will hold back Harvey Elliott until next month after his return to training this week following four months out with an ankle fracture-dislocation.
“He (Oxlade-Chamberlain) was running outside yesterday. I don’t know anything else,” he added.
On Harvey Elliott, he said: “He was out for a long time so we cannot rush it, but he looked directly like he could play. I’m pretty sure after the international break he should be ready.”
