A BMW driver from Croydon has been slapped with a hefty fine for not wearing a seat belt whilst driving.
Leroy Ellis was found guilty of driving a BMW in Carshalton High Street on June 10, 2021 without wearing a seat belt.
The 43-year-old was fined £354 for the offence during a hearing at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on January 11, 2022.
This includes a £220 fine, £34 to fund victim services and costs of £100.
Ellis, of Lodge Avenue in Croydon, must pay this by February 8.
