Your Local Guardian has opened this online book of condolence to bring together tributes to the four children who lost their lives in a house fire.

Four children have died following a house fire in Collingwood Road in Sutton on Thursday.

Grandad Jason Hoath named four-year-old Kyson and Bryson and three-year-old Leyton and Logan as the victims of the tragedy.

He said he is "devastated" that the "horrendous" house fire led to his "amazing, smart and beautiful grandsons" losing their lives.

The grieving grandad continued by saying they were "taken too soon" and they will "always be in our hearts and thoughts".

He signed the post off with "Boys I love you forever, Grandad xxx."

Firefighters in breathing apparatus entered the mid-terrace house and brought the four children out of the property after they were called at around 6.55pm on Thursday.

They were given immediate CPR by firefighters at the scene, who continued to administer treatment until London Ambulance Service crews arrived.

All four children were taken to hospital where they were pronounced dead.

Richard Mills said when firefighters arrived at the house in Sutton, the blaze was “very well-developed” and only the children were inside.

He said: “It’s a very traumatic event.

“They (firefighters) attended a very well-developed fire; they got there in under three minutes."

A 27-year-old has been arrested and held on suspicion of child neglect, the Metropolitan Police said.

Mourners have been laying floral tributes, candles and teddy bears for Kyson, Bryson, Leyton and Logan at the scene throughout the day.
