An application has been proposed for 32 new homes to replace Sidcup library.

The proposal will see the property built on Hadlow Road in Sidcup town centre.

The application was submitted by residential developer, BexleyCo.

The project is for the redevelopment of the site which will provide residential homes in a building of three to four storeys.

An additional 16 parking spaces will be provided for residents.

The site is a 20-minute walk away from Sidcup Railway Station.

The council made the decision to give the land in Hadlow Road, Sidcup to BexleyCo in May.

A decision by Bexley council is still yet to be made on the proposal.

The residential developer also built an additional 58 new homes and apartments in Old Farm Place, Sidcup.
