Police have released a new CCTV image in their ongoing search for a 29-year-old woman who was last seen in Redhill.

The image showed missing East Sussex woman Sophie Griffiths in Redhill prior to her being reported missing.

Police said they was now "growing concern" for the the 29-year-old, who was last seen in Redhill town centre on November 22.

Sophie reportedly last made contact with her family on 20 November. Investigators said the family are "also extremely concerned for her welfare".

She is described as White, 5ft 4 tall, of a slim build, with dark brown hair in a ponytail with a sweeping fringe.

She was wearing a grey top, a black puffed jacket with black fur hood, blue skinny jeans and black trainers with white soles.

"Our search for Sophie remains ongoing and we are doing everything we can to find her and ensure she is safe and well," Detective Sergeant Lisa Betchley said. "There will be a lot of police activity in the Redhill area while we carry out further enquiries. Sophie is from East Sussex so it is possible she has gone back there but at the moment we are focusing our search in the Redhill area. If you saw Sophie or you have any other information, please come forward."
