London Fire Brigade has released a statement after bushes were alight in a park in Carshalton.
Firefighters were called at 4.45pm on Tuesday to bushes alight in Grove Park.
This is near to Papermill Close.
One fire engine was sent from Wallington fire station.
The fire was under control by 4.57pm.
A spokesperson for London Fire Brigade said: "We were called at 1645 on November 2 to bushes alight in Grove Park, near Papermill Close, Carshalton.
"We sent one fire engine from Wallington fire Station.
"The fire was under control by 1657."
