The Ashley Centre in Epsom have announced a Halloween bonanza for children this October 31 and hope to use the occasion to raise money for Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital (GOSH).

Taking place on Halloween (Sunday, October 31), 'One Great Day' will run from 10.30am until 4.30pm and will put on a host of Halloween-themed events for kids including the chance to carve their own pumpkin, face painting and a treasure trail around the centre with a special prize for the winner.

The parents and guardians of those carving a pumpkin or taking part in the other spooky fun and games will be asked to make a donation to GOSH. The Ashley Centre is hoping this event will raise much needed funds for the organization they described as a "wonderful" charity.

GOSH care for some of the most seriously ill children in the country and rely heavily on charitable donations. According to the charity, Every day, over 600 of the UK's most seriously ill children arrive at the hospital in need of care.
