Crystal Palace misfit Jeff Hughes' proposed move to Bristol Rovers has stalled.
The club's had agreed a fee for the Northern Irish midfielder and the 22-year-old was expected to sign for the League One side this week.
But the Croydon Guardian has learned that talks between Hughes and the Pirates have hit a snag after the former Lincoln man failed to agree personal terms with the Memorial Stadium side.
Hughes joined Palace in the summer under ex-boss Peter Taylor, but has failed to impress current chief Neil Warnock who admits the Larne-born midfielder is surplus to requirements at Selhurst Park.
