Crystal Palace on-loan defender John Halls wants to stay at the club after a flying start to his Eagles career.
Reading right-back Halls, who is out of contract at the end of the season, joined Palace on Wednesday and went straight into the team that defeated Wolves 3-0 at Molineux on Saturday.
Since joining Steve Coppell's side in 2006, Halls has made just one league start for the Premier League side spending the majority of last season-and-a-half playing reserve team football.
And the former Arsenal trainee has revealed he is ready to call time on his Royals hell and earn a permanent Selhurst Park deal.
"It's horrible missing out on nearly two seasons of your career - you don't know where the time goes "My contract is up at the end of the season - so I want to put myself in the shop window by playing as many games as I can at Palace.
"I would love to stay at Palace - but that's further down the line so we will see where it goes."
