A man has been taken to hospital after a crash between a van and a pedestrian in Thornton Heath.
Police were called at around 8.15am on Monday to the crash in Parchmore Road.
Officers and ambulance crews attended and a 62-year-old man was taken to hospital - where he remains.
His injuries are not life-threatening.
Road closures were in place while emergency services responded.
The driver did not stop at the scene, police say.
There have been no arrests made in relation to the incident.
Enquiries are ongoing and police are appealing for any information to be directed to 101 quoting CAD 3142/04OCT.
A spokesperson for the Met Police said: "Police were called at approximately 08:15hrs on Monday, 4 October to reports of a collision involving a pedestrian and a van in Parchmore Road, Thornton Heath,CR7.
"Officers and London Ambulance Service attended.
"A 62-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment where he remains. His injuries are not life-threatening Road closures were in place while emergency services responded but have since been lifted.
"The driver did not stop at the scene.
"Enquiries are ongoing. No arrests.
