Officers from Sutton Metropolitan Police service have arrested five people after a group of stolen bikes were spotted by a helicopter on Sunday.
The team had a "lengthy" pursuit once the bikes had been spotted by helicopter - and needed a police dog, car and police officer to catch those involved.
Five people were arrested and three stolen bikes were recovered at the scene.
A "rather large" blade was also recovered which one of the suspects had "tried hiding".
