A health centre in Carshalton is celebrating its 15th anniversary.

Green Wrythe Lane health centre has been providing vital services since it first opened in the summer of 2006.

The three-storey healthcare building was built to bring together a range of health and social care services all under one roof to help meet the needs of the growing Sutton population.

Key services include; GP surgery, dental surgery, children's health services, midwifery, family planning services and phlebotomy.

As part of the anniversary, Carshalton and Wallington MP Elliot Colburn visited the health centre to meet staff and see some of the key services it offers to the community.

Elliot Colburn MP said: “It was great to be invited to take part in the 15th-anniversary celebrations at Green Wrythe Lane!

"I want to thank and pay tribute to the incredible team for the work that they do, and I look forward to celebrating all the future successes that Green Wrythe Lane will no doubt have!”
