Out-of-favour Crystal Palace goalkeeper Scott Flinders wants showdown talks with boss Neil Warnock this week in a bid to secure a loan move away from Selhurst Park.
Flinders started only his second game of the season in Saturday's 2-0 FA Cup third round defeat to Watford - but fellow custodian Julian Speroni is likely to take over the reigns when the Eagles travel to Wolves on Saturday.
And the 21-year-old has revealed he will talk to boss Warnock this week about the possibility of going out on loan during the January transfer window.
Flinders said: "It looks as if I won't be getting a game in the league because Jules is doing really well so it would have been nice to have a cup run but obviously it's been cut short.
"I'm hoping something can get sorted in the next couple of days where I can speak to the manager and try and get out somewhere on loan.
"I want to be playing games until the end of the season.
"As a goalkeeper you need to be playing games to gain experience, you don't get experience playing reserve games.
