Sutton Night Watch have thanked the National Lottery after they received a "sizeable grant" to expand their services.
The homeless charity based in Manor Road, Wallington, has been running for just under 5 years, providing facilities, support, food and more to the borough's most vulnerable.
Funding from the National Lottery Community Fund will allow the charity to be "more flexible" in the kinds of outreach support they can offer in Sutton.
It will also be used to strengthen the vital work that is already being achieved such as tackling food poverty and assisting with housing issues.
Lisa Brown, CEO & Director of Sutton Night Watch commented: “This is very exciting news for us.
"I am confident that this National Lottery funding boost will enable us to continue to support not only those in our immediate area, but further afield also”.
The grant will also be used to expand and implement more specialist, social welfare and well-being projects.
Two of which are already up and running offering complimentary support services such as Meditation, Mindfulness and Wellbeing.
