Police are appealing for information after a double stabbing in Carshalton left three men needing treatment from paramedics last night (June 22).

Officers with London's Met Police and paramedics with the London Ambulance Service were called to the scene of the stabbings on Wrythe Lane in Carshalton Tuesday night, around 9.53pm.

Attending the first responders found three men suffering injuries, including two who had been stabbed.

"Two of the men [Victim 1 and Victim 2], both in their 20s, were treated for stab injuries and were taken by LAS to a south London hospital.

"The third man [Victim 3] – also his 20s – was treated for minor injuries," a Met Police spokesperson said, adding that none of the injuries were thought to be life-threatening.

"A crime scene was in place but has now been closed.

"At this early stage, no arrests have been made," the statement continued.
