Chris Robshaw insists he remains fully focused on all matters Harlequins despite being linked with an England call-up.
Robshaw boosted his international chances with a try scoring performance in the 10-7 win over Worcester at the weekend.
But despite his grow reputation, the Quins flanker insists he is concentrating on his club form.
"People keep talking about me playing for England but I think whatever happens, happens," he said.
"I am not at a stage mentally where I think I should be in the England set-up, so I'm just taking it each game as it comes."
But should Robshaw receive a call from Brian Ashton, the Quins man admits it will be an honour to represent his country.
"Should I receive a call then I will relish the challenge," he said.
"Am I ready for the step up? I would hope so. You don't know you are ready until you are given a chance."
Nick Easter should be fit to take his place in England's Six Nations Squad, to be named on Thursday week, despite suffering a knee injury on Saturday.
The England number eight had a scan on Monday, but Quins officials were not expecting it to show serious damage.
Easter's injury was the one low point as Dean Richards's side won for the first time in nine matches at Sixways.
Not that the director of rugby was too impressed by the performance.
"A win's a win, I suppose," he said after edging it against a side yet to win in the Premiership this season.
Quins' two tries came in the space of five first-half minutes - from Robshaw and Gary Botha.
Quins will need to perform better against Richards's old club Leicester Tigers at the Twickenham Stoop on Sunday.
As the Comet went to press, the match was heading rapidly towards being a sell-out.
