A man has been charged with murder after a 42-year-old woman was fatally stabbed in Cheam last week.
Emergency services were called to the incident in Park Road shortly before 10 pm on Thursday (May 27).
Officers attended and found a woman inside the address suffering from stab injuries, though she was sadly pronounced dead at 10.34pm.
Mohsen Saadi, 56, of no fixed address is due to appear in custody at Croydon Magistrates’ Court today (May 31) on a charge of murder.
In an update on Monday, police confirmed that officers are in the process of contacting the victim's next of kin who are currently overseas.
